About

For the past decade, I’ve been filming and editing projects of many different scopes. When I was 16, I interned as a production assistant, taking part in filming a documentary about the long-lasting effects of physical punishment in children. The documentary was released by The Educational Video Center under the name, “That’s How I Was Raised: Breaking the Cycle of Child Abuse,” and had a limited screening at the HBO Theater in Manhattan. When I was 17 I interned at MAD Academy. I was tasked with filming, editing videos, taking photographs that were used to advertise the company. I would follow a group of artists, documenting their journey about searching for inspiration, obtaining the help of skilled muralists, and the eventual painting of several murals for their high school, City As School.

During the age of 21, I filmed a documentary, four experimental short films, and an online advertisement by myself, all with my own purchased equipment, during a pandemic. I am a skilled digital and film photographer, and as of late June, 2021, I became officially certified in Avid Media Composer. In May of 2022, my experimental short film, Human Connection: Aggression, won two awards at Borough of Manhattan Community College’s Cinema Club Film Festival: Best Experimental film, and Best Sound. The next year, my short film, “Popularity: A Short Video Essay” was accepted into the Concrete Jungle Film Festival
